Company House with Shed Kitchen

This is a typical two-story, single family company built home in McIntyre. As can be seen in the photo there is an extension on the front of the house, a "shed" which was the kitchen. The first floor contained three rooms and the second floor had two. There was also a root cellar where canned goods were stored. At the side of the home was a vegetable garden. All that remains today on this location are bushes, trees and miscellaneous rubble from the home.  This photo is from the mid 1950s.
