Ration Book from World War II-Front Cover
During
World War II every man, woman and child was issued a Ration Book by the US
Office of Price Administration. The Ration Books contained stamps that were
redeemable
with the appropriate amount of money for goods such as food, clothing, and
gasoline and other items that were rationed during the war. This particular Ration Book was issued to a 5 year old boy in
McIntyre, Pennsylvania. View the back cover of
