The Amond Family, 1938

Mr. Vinton Amond was employed by the Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Company and was in charge of the mine office from 1917 to 1942. He was responsible for the records and payroll, and was the only one bonded to handle the miner's pay. He was also responsible for all the collections from the miner's pay such as rent, store bills, etc.
